Issue 2 is here !!!!

Finally, after what felt like an eternity of waiting, our second issue has been released into the world. Only 300 copies of this issue are in existence so if you want to be part of the movement get yours now! Issue #2 is about allowing anyone to be part of the creative process. Art is being made right now, by our generation, and yet in most cases we are denied accessibility to this medium. We can go and look at a piece of art, but not touch. Instead of spending thousands (or millions) of dollars on a painting we are offering you something that is much easier to handle. These books contain original work. They are printed with care and love in the city of Chicago by human beings – not machines. For many days we at The New Heroes stood side by side with the men on the press adjusting colors, alignment and saturation.

What all this means is that each copy of this issue was crafted as an individual piece, a collectible item, as your personal piece of the artists within it.

We want to thank all of those who have supported The New Heroes over the last year. It is immensely difficult to follow through with independent ideas in the economic climate that we are currently in, and we have been allowed to do so through your support alone. Issue #2 can be viewed in partial here and can be purchased online here. We are currently working to make them available at a variety of bookstores in Chicago, San Francisco, Philadelphia and New York. Look for a list of stockists – coming soon!
